IRED Communities Ltd is currently being set up as a Not-For-Profit developer and manager of community / social infrastructure such as health services and affordable housing for Australians in need for shelter. Our key areas of service include:
• Development and delivery of affordable housing;
• Property and rental management services; and
• Apprenticeship, training and employment.
Our role is to work closely with government, communities, agencies and service providers where community and housing need has been identified. We secure land, create a project design concept, arrange development finance and manage the construction. Under our IRED Finance we can arrange mortgage finance for homebuyers and the manage the rental of unsold homes.
As a public benevolent institution, an income tax exempt charity and deductible gift recipient, the surplus profit we make goes back into providing additional needs of Indigenous communities. Our objectives are:
Provide much needed community and social infrastructure such as healthcare services and transitional housing in regional locations:
Provide quality affordable rental housing to those in need and assists those who cannot enter the traditional housing market securing a pathway to home ownership;
Create employment and training opportunities wherever possible so that local communities can benefit from skills development and economic opportunities provided through construction and operations.
